Creative Movement 

2 year old / 30 minutes

 

A fun introduction to movement and musicality!

Tap/Ballet/Jazz Combo
3 & 4 year olds / 30 minutes

 

A little bit of everything! Learn the basic positions of all 3 styles in one class and improve coordination.

Tap/Ballet/Jazz Combo
5 & 6 year olds / 45 minutes

 

Begin learning technique and terminology in the three styles.

Tap/Ballet/Jazz Combo
K-1st Grade / 1 hour

 

Continue on to more challenging steps and combining movements in this combo class. 

Ballet / Levels 4-8

A foundation for training and focus on developing a solid ballet technique with emphasis on understanding correct body placement, proper use of turn out, coordination of the upper body (epaulement), and use of arms (port de bras).

Jazz / Levels 4-8

Jazz classes begin with a warm-up to develop strength, flexibility, correct alignment and coordination, followed by progressions across the floor, and culminates in extended dance combinations. The movement explores a range of styles in both lyrical and percussive disciplines with a focus on jazz elements such as isolations, swing, and rhythm. 

Contemporary / Levels 6-8

Introduces students to fundamental principles of contraction/release, spiral, and shift of weight. The students focus on movement from the inside out, encouraging use of breath, energy, and connection.

Lyrical / Levels 4 & 5

This class is a combination of ballet and jazz that challenges dancers to use choreography and movement to interpret music and express emotion. Dancers learn to express emotions derived from lyrics to convey the dance’s meaning.

Hip Hop / Levels 3-8

Hip Hop incorporates a variety of old and new urban dance styles.  Hip hop dancing is very dynamic and helps the dancers improve flexibility develop body balance, and coordination.

Tap / Levels 4-8

Classes focus on rhythm, musicality, and timing. All classes begin with an energetic warm-up, across-the-floor exercises and combinations.

Conditioning / Levels 5-8

 

Strength and cardio class designed with dancers' needs in mind. Fun music and sweat!

Yoga & Flexibility / Levels 5-8

Flexibility exercises mixed with mindfulness and breath work. 

Pom & Dance Team Prep / Levels 4-8

Class geared toward dancers who have an interest on being on a high school or college dance team.

Barre Workout / Adult (18 & up)

Combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga, and strength training.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga / Adult (18 & up)

Emphasizes the sequential movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by deliberate breath. The Vinyasa practice becomes a moving meditation that creates strength, freedom, and fluidity in the body and mind.

Beginner Jazz Funk (can be taken in a heel!) / Adult (18 & up)

Introduction to Jazz with some added spice and elements of hip-hop set to high energy music!

Pointe / Pre-Pointe (by invitation only)

Students will utilize previously learned ballet technique while working in pointe shoes. Each class includes barre exercises, center floor work and across the floor combinations. These exercises focus on strengthening the feet and ankles.
